The Revelation Given to John by Jesus Through the Angel

Lesson Two

Compare “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem and cry unto her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. … He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arms and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”[i] With “doom to you destroyer, not yet destroyed; and doom to you Betrayer, not yet betrayed. When you finish destroying your turn will come – destroyed! When you quit betraying your turn will come – betrayed! God treat us kindly. You’re our only hope. First thing in the morning, be there for us. When things go bad, help us out.”[ii] Yeshua prayed, to the Father, that he would guard us from the evil one that we might be one heart and one mind with him.[iii] Paul admonishes us to not try to second-guess God, but to yield to our Creator,[iv]and reminds us that we are getting our nourishment from Yeshua, not the other way around,[v]as he said.[vi] Note: You will understand better by reading the references.

Yeshua cares about the branches of his tree, natural and grafted in – his chosen people. We are divinely protected from the evil one. We get our life and substance from being connected to the Vine, the source of our life. He calls us friend and gave us the revelation so we would know what is about to happen. We, in the twenty-first century, must remember that Yeshua’s Revelation was given first to the church in the first century. The events prophesied were nearly upon them. Yeshua wanted the Christians in the first century to see that tribulation would be a fact of Christian life until the end, and they weren’t being singled out to bear up under the load alone in history. Remember, we in America and other Christian tolerant nations aren’t the only Christians in the world. Many Christians, all over the world, are right now ecperiencing great tribulation. Yeshua also wanted to stress the joy and peace in the midst of tribulation that are god’s children’s natural heritage. Yeshua, our Mashiach, delivered his message by an angel and John was faithful to report all he saw.

The reader of revelation is blessed because he is a recipient of knowledge from the Creator that is privileged.
