Running the Race as a Winner Day Twenty-five

Day Twenty-five

At the judgment seat of Mashiach[i]we will know that all our righteousness is wood, hay, and stubble.[ii]We will have a complete understanding of the finished work of our Mashiach.[iii]It is absolute. We will see that only what Mashiach has done in our lives is pure gold and will remain forever.[iv]Now what we perceive about God seems to come to us through a foggy window sometimes; and at other instances, through a clean window fleetingly. Reality is elusive to our mortal senses, and on the rare occasions when it becomes well defined in our muddled minds, it is hard to describe to others.[v]But then (at the judgment seat of Mashiach) we shall clearly understand that tranquility[vi], that perfect peace of the knowledge of the finished work of Mashiach.[vii]

He who has begun a good work in us will go on perfecting it until the Day of Mashiach, when His character will be displayed in us, the consummation of our faith.[viii]We will perfectly understand and  hear with our whole heart the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God: the fulfilled hope of his calling.[ix]We will understand what that hope is: what all the attributes of God are that we have inherited for our own.[x]We will be like him for we will see him with flawless perception.

We have been laboring to enter his rest. We have been looking at him through the mirror of his word so that we will be changed from glory to glory, one attribute at a time, into his image. But when we see him face to face, we will be like him in the twinkling of an eye. Then our labor will be gone forever and we will rest in the finished work of our Mashiach.[xi]Even so, come Lord Yeshua! [xii]

Prayer:  O Lord, my maker, my master, I am your slave, bought with the price of the precious blood of your Son; yet you give me your riches in glory. Make me intelligent to discern you and your will. Open my spiritual eyes to understand exactly what it is you have called me to do, so that I may grasp the immensity of the glorious way of life you have for your followers with endless energy and boundless strength. And blessed be the name of the Lord God from this time and forevermore.
